From the squalor of a borrowed stable
By the Spirit and a virgin's faith
To the anguish and the shame of scandal
Came the Savior of the human race
But the skies were filled

Shepherds listen as the angels tell

在那污秽不堪客栈马槽；

天上君王今成罪人朋友，
谦卑义仆降在父手中，
他本是神，充满圣灵大能，
却满有怜悯救破碎人，
与我同行路，与我同受苦，

Through the kisses of a friend's betrayal
He was lifted on a cruel cross
He was punished for a world's transgressions
He was suffering to save the lost
He fights for breath He fights for me
Loosing sinners from the claims of hell
And with a shout our souls are free
Death defeated by Immanuel
朋友背叛之吻将他出卖，
他被高挂残忍十架上，

Giving glory to Immanuel
如今他正在那神圣之地，
