永恒膀臂

Verse 1

Are you sunk in depths of sorrow,

Where no arm can reach so low?

There is One whose arms, almighty,

Reach beyond thy deepest woe:

你是否正哭泣忧愁，

孤单痛苦心落魄？

有位救主，膀臂全能，

能抚慰谷底歔（xu）啜。

God eternal, is thy refuge,

let Him still thy wild alarms;

Underneath thy deepest sorrow

are the everlasting arms.

祂能平息狂风暴，

Verse 2

Other arms grow faint and weary,

these can never faint or fail;

Others reach our mounts of blessings,

These our lowest, darkest vale.

世间膀臂终是软弱，

惟祂永不会出错；

世人只能相伴安乐；

主陪伴死荫深幽；

Oh, that all might know His friendship!

Oh, that all might see His charms!

Oh, that all might have beneath them

Jesus’ everlasting arms.

快来认识独一朋友！

快仰望祂荣耀座！

快投靠祂翅膀荫下，

主膀臂能力广阔！

Underneathus, oh, how easy!

We have not to mount on high,

But to sink into His fullness,

And in trustful weakness lie.

亲爱救主，谦卑温柔，

不需你艰难高攀，

安心躺卧享受祂爱

虽疲倦主仍可靠。

And we find our hymbling failures

Save us from the strength that harms;

We may fall, but underneath us

Are the everlasting arms.

承认自己失败软弱，

能使我们免沦落，

我们纵然失信受挫，

主膀臂大能稳妥。

Arms of Jesus, fold me closer

to thy strong and loving breast,

Till my spirit on Thy bosom,

finds its everlasting rest,

耶稣膀臂将我环绕，

永恒安息今寻着。

And when life’s last sands are sinking,

Shield my heart from all alarms,

Softly whisp’ring, “underneath thee
