基督是锚，坚固牢靠，虽暴风肆虐狂啸；
怀疑之风，席卷横扫，风帆全毁船飘摇；
逼迫患难，愁苦忧伤，当盼望沉没渺茫；
我要专心依靠这锚，它稳固永不动摇；
Christ the sure and steady anchor, in the fury of the storm
When the winds of doubt blow through me, and my sails have all been torn
In the suff'ring, in the sorrow, when my sinking hopes are few
